Welcome to the new blog, Blessings of Liberty. The name of this blog comes from the Preamble of the Constitution in which it states that one of the purposes of the Constitution is to "secure the Blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity." Yet, it seems the Constitution has largely been ignored since shortly after writing it, resulting in a loss of liberty for us, their posterity.

This blog will focus on political/economic issues that deal, directly or indirectly, with the issue of securing the Blessings of liberty. Oh, and I might throw in some random sports commentary too
